Improving Safety of Passenger Road Transportation

چکیده
The objective is to increase the passenger road transportation safety by developing an improved model of transport process with minimal risks incidents. Functional Resonance Analysis Method (FRAM) was used determine factors influencing reliability transportation, which based on study functions six different aspects: time, control, output, resource, prerequisites, and input. It clarified that main reason for violation traffic rules drivers buses psycho-physiological state driver, depends experience, duration work shift, operation bus, speed movement, stress load. most important criteria among those mentioned are professional experience movement a bus. combination these time execution production task without introduction appropriate control over it leads high probability incident. In addition, human factor, directly specialists' (the organization manager, mechanic checking bus before starting work, doctor, driver), also significantly affects process. analysis causes incidents confirmed close connection between undesirable event error, strengthening driver increases reduces failures in performance work. originality research lies established relationship have impact process, makes possible assess level assigned within specified time; practical significance quantitative assessment provision recommendations monitoring at all stages transportation.

Safety Measures for Sustainable Road Transportation
This study examined interactions of environmental and safety measures for road transportation. The results showed that a vast majority of the examined measures support both policy objectives and thereby contribute effectively to sustainable transportation. However, there were also measures with conflicting effects, although the number of those measures was limited. In addition, there were a num...

متن کاملEstimating the safety performance of urban road transportation networks.
Transportation planning models are typically used to estimate future traffic patterns, peak period traffic, travel time, and various environmental or other related traffic flow characteristics. Unfortunately, traffic safety is seldom, if ever, explicitly considered proactively during the transportation planning process. This omission is attributed to various factors, including the lack of avail...
متن کاملPassenger Transportation Processes Performance Measurement System . a Case Study of Road Transport
The focus of this study is on the problems connected with road passenger transportation process performance measurement system development. Thus, the main definitions and briefly literature overview in the analyzed research area are given. Later, the main classification of road passenger transportation processes’ performance measures are developed. There are presented obtained performance analy...
متن کاملAn empirical study of planning and scheduling interactions in the road passenger transportation domain∗
In this paper we investigate the interactions between planning and scheduling in a specific scenario, road passenger transportation. The problem consists of finding the best assignment of available drivers (resources) to a set of requested services (actions) given a cost function and subject to the constraints provided by administrations. We have considered two approaches. In the first approach...
